6/9/03 To David and
Sonya Moore, may God bless:
We know what we hear when we hear David teach. We hear a man who
loves the Lord; a man who knows Christ and is redeemed by His
sacrifice. Please, “keep the faith”. We have no doubt that you
will. Know that your faithfulness in sharing the Word is a blessing
to many, including ourselves. We do a bible study at a local
mission. We have often shared one of David’s messages with the
gentlemen who participate. We will continue to do so. God bless you
both.
With love in Christ,
Jerry & Donna C.

I am one of the many (former) members of
SWCC, that left after Dave did. I was sick to my stomach (literally)
when Dave and his wife were being persecuted back in November. I felt
kind of lost after he was taken from us. I really had to rely on my
God to get me past the mourning I was going through. God through David
has lifted my spirits more times than I can count, I don't know what I
would have done during those times in my life were it not for his
sermons. Thank you David. He is now the featured speaker at New
Community Church, which I have gone to since day one. I pray daily
that God give him strength to endure the spiteful vindictiveness that
he has to deal with, so that he will not be taken from us once again.
Dave, if you read this...know one thing and know it well...we got your
back man!!!!! Lenise M.

I just wanted to let you know how David
Moore has impacted my life. 2 years ago my husband & I were separated
after 20 years of marriage. We are both Christians, but things had
gotten really rough. I was listening to Christian radio, and ordered
"Love for a Lifetime". At the same time, our church announced that
they were going to do an 8 week marriage series featuring David Moore.
It was no accident that it was the same series. We attended, and by
the 4th week our marriage was changed. We now have started a bible
study, marriage series in our home, and have been using David's video
series ("Love for a Lifetime, and Marathon Marriage) to reach other
couples in need. We have been through the tapes 4 times. I know that
one person was saved, just from coming to that series, and hearing
the word, through David's teaching on the Video tapes. We know of 4
marriages, that have been saved just from this small study in our
home. May God Richly Bless you David, Sonja, and your family. If you
have done any of the things your accused of, it just proves that your
human like the rest of us. Your teaching has blessed my life more
than you will ever know, and I know that God is in that! I pray
that all who are sitting in judgment of you, would read Matthew
6:14,15 and commit those verses to memory. Please let me know where
you will be preaching. There are a group of us in Arizona, that want
to travel to where you are, and see you in person. I will keep you
and your family in prayer during this time of trial. I pray that the
blessing that you have been to my life, and to others, will return to
you overflowing.
Sincerely, Lynette B.
(I wrote Lynette and asked about posting her name)
As far as using my name if you feel its better
not to that is fine. But please forward my full name, and this
contact information to the Moores. I know that as a group we will be
going to see him soon. I can't thank him enough for the tools that he
has provided to my family. Our life is night & day. We will
continue with our marriage series, as long as there is need. I know
in my heart God lead me to this message, through David Moores
Ministry, and has convicted me that this a a Man of God.
With our Continued Prayer, and Support,
Lynette B.
(Jen to Lynette: I agree with you, his messages on forgiveness have
been used mightily by God to change my life, praise His holy name!)
On Sunday, March 16,
2003, one week after resigning as the pastor of a church in inner city
Los Angeles where the structure was corrupt, I traveled with my wife
to Palm Springs for some R&R. I greatly looked forward to going to
hear David T. Moore at the Southwest Community Church. The last time I
went to hear Pastor Moore, the church was at a smaller location. When
I drove up to the new church, I exclaimed, "Now that is a church
building that says that God is awesome."
When my wife and I got seated, I noticed that nothing around had
Pastor Moore's name on it. After service, I asked the man in front of
me if he was a member of the church. When he replied "yes". I told him
that I learned so much from Pastor Moore over the years by listening
to his wonderful messages on KKLA. Thereafter, I inquired about Pastor
Moore. The man told me that Pastor Moore was no longer the pastor at
the church. I was saddened by the news.
Please know that I did have an experience with the Holy Spirit and
the church that Pastor Moore once led. I know that nothing excellent
happens without leadership.
Pastor Moore, if you read this please know that you have left a
legacy. Some in your old church are corrupt. Some, however, learned
from a wonderful leader. THEY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DISCOUNT WHAT YOU
DID TO ADVANCE GOD'S AGENDA.
I learned a lot from you. I'll be praying for you and your family.
Sincerely,
Pastor Pastor James K. McKnight
(name posted with permission...I truly appreciate bold pastors!
Thank you Pastor James! -Jen)

Hello,
My name is Mary..I am presently residing in Nv anxiously awaiting the
return of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I am prompted to write
this
letter in response to a letter I just read on your website. It was in
reference to David T. Moore.
I found out the news this past Sunday about David through a former
member of my church who recently moved to the Palm Springs area. I
would have no walk with Jesus if it had not been for David. The
sentiments expressed on that web page, are my feelings totally. I have
been praying for David since I heard the news. My husband (David) is
equally devastated.
I hope there are people at the church who feel the same. I recently
befriended a person in the Christian Motorcycle club that I belong to.
He was given life in prison for a crime that he indeed admitted to,
that happened long ago. He turned himself in. The motorcycle club
would have nothing to do with him. He was friends with some of these
people for many many years. I only knew him a few months. Is this the
Christian "brotherhood" of Hebrews 13?
He who is free of sin, cast the first stone...I am not even good
enough to cast the last one, more or less the first one.
If I can find an address to write David Moore..I will....
Thank You,
God Bless...Shalom
Mary
