We can teach that under “tolerance" and pretend it's mandated, keep going.."
| Simultaneous to the religion objections, I object to
teaching impressionable children the lifestyle of
homosexuals as an
option. I have no problem with homosexuals, some of my
best friends
are homosexuals, but I vehemently oppose teaching it to IMPRESSIONABLE
CHILDREN. People can do what they want in the privacy of their own
home but don't push it on my kids. Unbelievably, they can and are.
Oh we can opt out, but who wants their son in a high school gym shower
with a bunch of boys being taught about the glory homosexuality? SHEESH. That's another lawsuit waiting to happen, hopefully not to
anyone I know. You can teach TOLERANCE without inducing people into
the gay lifestyle! In fact, according to FBI statistics, African Americans and Jews are more persecuted than |
gays, so where are the tolerance
classes for those groups?
When I talked to the principal about the homosexual issue, he told me that they were mandated to do this by the state. That our wonderful school board had voted for the less offensive homosexual plan. I checked. (people never think I'll check)... That's not true either. The state mandates that there can be no abuse of homosexuals allowed. That's IT, that's ALL. Gov. Davis has worked hard putting together a task force RECOMMENDING these sex education classes but it is NOT MANDATED. This is happening in our school district BY CHOICE. And it is NOT MINE nor any mothers that I know. |
