I've been errant in not posting this sooner. I've been hearing a lot of stories of missionaries there and going there, please pray for their protection as they minister and plant seeds.

I also thought it was interesting, according to the CIA about Haiti:

note: roughly half of the population practices voodoo

This means there's a lot of Christians practicing voodoo?

But regardless, please pray, especially for the children.

Hey Jen, can I request prayer for a specific person in Haiti? My church supports or knows of several missionaries or Christian workers doing missionary style work in Haiti. We have had contact from all of them except one, her name is Carol Blackburn. There has been no word on this dear woman of God since the original quake. We are becoming fearful.

Jen, Nointed, and everyone,
We just got word today that Carol Blackburn is ok. She was 90 minutes north of Port-Au- Prince She is ok her house is ok and she is continuing to minister to the needs of Haiti. One of tha ladies from the church had mailed Carol a box way back in Nov. She finally received it this past week, and called to say thank you. She asked that we say thank you to all who have been praying for her. Thank you, my friends for being faithful to lift her name before the Throne

Thanks for the praise report Bruce! May God continue to bless her and her ministry and open doors when needed!! God bless you as well Bruce, and I am praying that a job will open up soon for you. These are difficult times and it seems many of us are either losing our jobs, or know someone close who has..or cant find a job. I pray the Lord meets your needs and gives you favor with just the right employer. :angel:

Thank you Nointed, your prayers are greatly welcomed and appreciated. I know that our God is still in control and am curiously awaiting to see what HE has in store for me

I'm so glad to hear she's okay bruce! Praise God! Thanks for sharing that. That is amazing that she's able to receive something through all the chaos going on there? wow

We should probably switch to strength and refreshing for her, she must be overwhelmed!

And I join nointed in prayer for you, I pray something opens up soon. You're on the front lines, bruce, what you're going through now I think might be happening to many of us soon. I hope not, will be praying for you, for Carol, and for our nation. I could be wrong but I think we're in some serious trouble, have you heard about Abhmajinidab (I know, I don't know how to spell it). He's calling for something to happen on the 11th. Prophesies seem to be lining up, we have something about a false prophet somewhere just as their "prophet" (at least Achmadinijab thinks he's the herald of him) is supposed to come on the scene. I pray most of all that Christ come soon!

Can you imagine what it must feel like to live in this world and not know that Christ is coming? My gosh, I just thought of that...if you thought this was all there is? Wow. I'd be really frightened. Can you picture it? I can't even grasp how that must feel.

Bruce.. praying for you today! Lord open those doors for the right job for our brother!!! Also, we continue to hold up everyone invloved in the Haiti disaster..those who need the help and those who are doing the help.. They all need your touch Lord.
